Employees engaged in material handling activities in the workplace are often exposed to hazards inherent in their job function. If an employee mishandles materials, he or she may cause injury, even death, to him- or herself, fellow employees, or members of the general public.
This course is designed to provide employees with a basic understanding of safe work practices for materials handling, including safely working with or around special materials handling equipment.
